Pitman Arm
Hey guys and any gals,
I'm im the middle of r/r my new steering gear box. I see that the pitman arm has 4 slots so I have a 75% chance of putting it on 90* off. I'm thinking of finding the center of the box by going end to end on the steering wheel then straightening out the wheels hoping the arm will line up with the middle link(wrong name).
Is this approach correct or should the arm be off to an angle with wheels straight and steering box at center?
thanks!
