A quick funny...
Well, my buddy here in Bham bought a 67 C10 383/TH350 4x4... The fella that had the truck said he "built" the truck but answered the following questions:
#1: What I find funny is he said when asked "what thermostat is in the engine?" His response was, "Its a big one." ... really dude, it has a "big" thermostat... Youre a friggin MORON. Well after hearing this, I decided to see how "big" the tstat was and low and behold, there is NO tstat at all...
#2: I also had my buddy ask the newly found moron what size the converter was. Well his response was "its stock". At this point I tell my buddy that he really needs to stop asking questions and here's why; By buddy put a tach in the truck to see what RPM he was turning at 75. Well I went to drive the truck the other day and I stalled it... to 3500RPM! It flashed to almost 4100!!! I was SHOCKED that the moron would put what I assume to be a 4k stall in a street truck w/ what sounds to be a fairly small cam...
Folks that "think" they know cars/truck please, please, and again PLEASE!!! If you dont know exactly what youre talking about, KEEP your worthless knowledge to yourself!! I dont claim to know everything about a vehicle but DAMMIT MAN!!
Rant over, hope you got as much of a kick out of this as we did...
