Something missing beside Vapor Canister
Something missing beside Vapor Canister
Hello. I've got an '88 GTA and the battery is mounted on the driver's side, opposite of my Camaro. On the passenger side, the vapor canister is mounted close to the fender. Beside it, there is an indentation and a small bolt hole. What would have been mounted in this location from the factory?

The battery, if it had been built as a Camaro.

Sounds like the area for the air cleaner box. Pics would help.

You know, I hadn't thought of that and it makes sense. This is my first Firebird. It's got an old '69 350 transplanted in, but the seller wanted to keep the TPI so none of the tubing/MAF/air cleaner came with the car.

That makes sense, thanks.
