Help!!

I did a tuneup on my camaro yesterday and it was getting dark when i finished. i was hooking the battery back when the wrench touched metal and it cause a lot of sparks and now it will not start. i havnt check any fuses yet because i had to work at 6 this morning, just trying to find out all the information i can about what could have happen..

Probably blown a fusible link.

Next time disconnect the ground cable first, and reconnect it last.

I did this once changing a starter on my '88, and ironically just tore apart my 92, you should have about 3 fusible links up top by the battery in a junction block if you will, and maybe 2 off of the starter. way to test is to use a volt meter and stab the insuation on each side to make sure both sides have 12v.

This is of course after you check all the simple fuses inside the car, but i'm banking on you blew a fusible link. easy to fix, just cut out bad link, and crimp in a new one, and make sure you use shrink tape or something to seal it perfectly air/water tight.
