Kickdown launch
Kickdown launch
Hi Guys,
I have the 88 TBI 305 Camaro.
I could have sworn that when launching with full throttle the car would leap to maybe 3000-4000 rpms and chip the tires a bit before launching. Now however it just starts at zero and slowly accelerates up.
Kickdown switch works when punching the pedal at any speed.
Car only has 90.000 KM's on it and dynolicious says 140 horsepower....sweet lord :-)
So I guess the question is, isnt it supposed to hit higher rpm's when launching with full throttle ?
Regards

Hi and thanks for your reply. I merely meant that kickdown works. Any idea why it could suddenly feel so slow when acc from a stop ? No other issues, the car runs great other than that.
