My car wont start with the keys. I installed a new cylinder and ignition switch. I have power and everything works and i can start car by putting a screwdriver on starter! I just cant start car by turning key

 

Do you have 12V on the yellow starter wire at the Ign switch when in START position?
Is the switch position adjusted correctly?

 

Yes theres 12v and it adjusted right. I know that because on the factory one when i turned key oil pressure gauge will jump and now on the new one same thing oil pressure gauge jumps when trying to start.

 

OP gauge has nothing to do with starter circuit;
the fact it moves when you go to start probably means you have other wiring problems

Have you actually measured for 12V out at the switch???

So if you have 12V on the starter circuit at Ign switch and nothing at starter solenoid
you have a break in the wiring between the two

 

I have 12v at the switch but havent check the starter. as of right now i wired in a darn lightswitch to start it. you know flip up then flip down so starter wont spin. i will check out all the wiring tomorrow.

 

Fixed this problem a long time ago. i put a new ignition switch along with new cylinder and neautral safety switch. It was only my neautral safety switch -_-
