Rochester quadrajet leaking....after rebuild
When I start the engine up, it's starts overflowing thru the needles and goes on the top of the fuel bowl. I rebuilt this carb and it worked well before. I can't figure out what's wrong. Any ideals?

Needle & seat problem
Probably something simple; needle hanger going through one of the holes in the float arm instead of sitting around the half-moon shape, or something simple like that. Some crud in there, seat not tightened down all the way (fuel leaking around the threads), seat gasket damaged or missing. Float hanging up on something and not being able to close the valve all the way.
Something simple, for sure.
