Initial start hesitation question
Long story short; original motor had been swapped with a 305 out of a 92 Silverado (a temp solution until I can find a LT1 block). We kept the pistons, crank, cam and heads from the truck motor and tans planted the tpi system to it.
Problem is, it takes a couple minutes to start if it's been sitting. If its been running and you turn if off and need to turn it back on it'll fire back up no problem. You guys think it's a fuel issue, vacuum, injector?
Not a huge deal but its kinda annoying.

Re: Initial start hesitation question
Maybe you're losing fuel pressure in the lines and it's priming the system. Could be a small pressure loss, so it keeps enough while it has only been sitting for a little while. Also the starter may be going. Probably not but if it can't crank at full power it'll take longer to start. Not any definite answers but start to look there. Good luck!

Re: Initial start hesitation question
Hummm, okay I'm going to have to dig around some more. I can rule of the starter itself (new high torque mini from Powermaster), will have to check the other options.
