Stumbling with Throttle...

My first post here on thirdgen, but have been a lurker for a long time. These forums have helped me fix a lot of issues, but I can't seem to find an answer to my issue at hand.

I have a 95 Camaro F Body with a LT1. No modifications except cutting out the muffler and basically running straight pipes from the cat, I did a month ago. And oh my she sounds so good. Under the hood she is still stock. She wont be for long, but have to rip the front end out and replace steering and suspension (which I plan to upgrade to high performance).

History of "Peggy Sue"

Bought her after she arrived from Chicago 02/12 (no prior maintenance information)
Crazy fuel knock and found cast iron gaskets on the aluminum heads which were replaced (heads steamed and pressure tested) 03/12
Plugs wires and fuel filter 03/12
Intake and valve gaskets 03/12
New Opti Spark 04/12
Fixed snapped TPS pigtail wire 08/12
Replaced TPS 08/12
Replaced #1 injector pigtail 09/12
DTC 29 - Secondary EAS Circuit (replaced blown 20A fuse) 09/12

Running Castrol SAE 40 oil
Premium fuel only

Now to my issue...after not sure if the vacuum system was properly together on drivers side of engine, I redid the lines based off the diagram on the nose of the car last night. Over the past couple of weeks, when I would give her throttle, I kept thinking I felt a stumble. Now after the lines were correctly connected, when I give her throttle, she stumbles bad. Almost to the point of stalling. However, she did finally stall out and I was not able to restart until I sat for a min or two. If she sits for about 3-5 min I can start and drive without stumbles, but after pressure (what I believe to be pressure of some sort) builds the stumbles are incredible. I have a large amount of power loss when throttle is given. Tested pigtail to the #1 fuel injector to make sure it wasn't a miss. I am at a loss. So I have a vacuum and fuel pressure test I want to do, however, I do not know where to hook up the vacuum tester and feel silly because I like to think I am pretty good under the hood. Haven't done one of these tests before.

I tried a fuel pressure test but could not get a reading. Don't know if I did it wrong. I connected the gauge to the schrader valve on fuel line behind the intake and switched the car to the ON position. There was not any pressure reading on the gauge. Got frustrated and walked away.

Any ideas would be so helpful to my stumble and vacuum test location. Not sure if I hook it to the port on the drivers side of the intake closest to the firewall.

Thank you!!!

Best regards,

IsleGirl
