GM headgasket 10105117 - which way is "up"

bought these to go back up with my rebuild of the top end, but there is no specific direction of which side is "up". i assume the side that has the part number on it would be the "up" side, but would like to confirm if somebody knows first-hand. planning on installing tomorrow... thx...

Yes installed text should be readable, the dimpled side goes down
