C4/F-Body inter changabillity
quick question of will parts off an 88 C4 or close years bolt up relitivley easy to a 92 Z28? i know the engine will just drop right in with minimal changes if any. but will the front clip and possibly IRS bolt up to the unibody?
thanks.
thanks.

irs is a huge daunting process from what i remember. you have to weld in a bunch of plates to strengthen the chassis and do a lot of drilling cutting grinding and welding. all in all from what i remember it isn't worth it.

Do a few searches on here, a few have done it but it sure isnt a "bolt in".

the front brakes go on easily enough. the good brakes started in 87 or 88. i don't know about the rear brakes, but anything can be put on anything else with a little work. if you grab the brakes, get the spare tire, too..
seats are a possibility, but won't be a "bolt in" deal.
the wheels can be used with spacers.
