Re: Electric Fuel Pump Question

yes,but only run it for a second or two-its meant to be lubricated by gas flowing through it.

Thanks man. I tested it and like i thought. I new the fuel pump was shot. Only other question i got is where can i find the same stock fuel pump. one with the positive and negitive terminals on it, cause when i look through ac delco or summit, they are diffrent, there connected to a wiring harness which connects to both terminals together. And i dont want that

Re: Electric Fuel Pump Question

I recently replaced a stock fuel pump with a Delco EP241 and the installation was perfect. The stock connector plugged right into it.

Re: Electric Fuel Pump Question

Keep in mind ; the main reasons the in tank fuel pump fails is, the fuel filter gets too clogged or the tank is ran to low on fuel. The fuel around it and like 8t2 said the fuel going through it keeps it alive and cool.

If you go to Autozone, they should have one for your year of car. WHat I did was google "255lph electric Firebird fuel pump" and came up with many options.
