so I blew my heads on my what I thought was a 305 engine in my 91 rs convertible come to find out it was a 350 tbi anyway got new heads rebuilt and I did thwe whole job myself wasnt hard to do only problem is I finished it yesterday and triumphantly went to crank it and got nothing now it wont start no crank no buzzing no noise nothing at all just dead silence any Ideas ?
I Didnt touch the starter at all which is what most people think but checked for current and its giving out the right voltage but I dont know what could be wrong everything has been put back in its place one person suggested my key didnt have a chip on it but it never had one and im not the first owner so i wouldnt know anyway
I did it myself it did take me a bit of time to put it back together ( it was sitting for two months and some change) but its done and no start id apppreciate some feedback thanks guys

Battery perhaps?

 

Or....
Was there a grounding strap connected to the rear of your head somewhere?

OR...
You may have 12 volts but not enough Amps. A 'Near Dead' battery will show 12 volts but not have enough Amps to even cause your dome light to come on. As soon as you turn your key on, all will go dead.
