Overheating, coolant looks nasty

So my camaro just recently started overheating. It will overheat just sitting in the driveway idling. When I shut it down, it sounds like someone is spraying a garden hose at full blast in the overflow tank. The coolant looks brown and smells like hell.

I was just getting ready to swap back to the original cam because when I rebuilt the engine two years ago I did an LT1 swap and haven't had enough time to get really get into the DIY prom game (although it was pretty drivable in the summer months). Anyway less than 5000 miles since the rebuild which consisted of rebuilt stock heads and fresh gaskets all around with the cam swap.

Any suggestions on what I could be dealing with here?

Thanks in advance.

Flush your coolant and change the cap to start.
