350 w/ 305 TPI, vortec TBI, or LT1 top end?

I'm starting with a stock 305 TBI/T5 RS and a ton of parts. I plan on putting in a '97 T56, so that doesn't easily create a "sell everything and drop in an LS1" option. Anyways, this car is primarily going to be a street car, A/C, cats, and most emissions, no carb, start up everytime. I want to shoot for 300hp (what my stock '02 LS1 T/A had) , and want the option of buying more hp with some aluminum heads/cam/tunning later on (375-400hp).

Here's what I have...

'92 305 TBI complete stock engine, wiring, ecm etc, currently installed

late 350 +.020 roller longblock, 1pc rear main
- 305 vortec heads w/ .194 intake valves
- XR258HR Comp Cam 258/264 .480/.487
- vortec intake for carb

'92 305 TPI SD stock complete engine
- stock ecm, wiring harness hacked up a bit

'94 LT1 heads, cam, opti, intake, acc brackets, tuned pcm and wiring that was in a '68 Camaro, minus emisions.

Holley 2" 2bbl TBI unit w/ unknown injectors, I think 454
GMPP intake for TBI
EBL flash ecm 1228746

Headers (still to be purchased)

LT1 rear w/ 3.42's

'97 T56, clutch, pedals, jazz, speedo conv unit etc

-------------------------------------------------------

The obvious part is to use the 350 shortblock, and a TPI fuel pump to be installed.

The options I see are...

1. 305 votec heads w/ GMPP intake, holley TBI, and EBL flash ecm
- Pro = minimal modifications, easier emssions.
- Con = difficult to get 375hp with new heads/cam, limited to vortec style heads

2. TPI modified for vortec heads.
- Pro = more modern/reliable than TBI?
- Con = rewiring, need to buy a tune, would need to upgrade to HSR for serious power later, marginal at best do even make 275hp.

3. LT1 heads, intake, pcm wiring
- Pro = Easy power
- Con = rewiring, requires a lot of work to the heads for GenI block, new heads later on would require same work, limited choices

4. 305 vortec heads w/ LT1 intake
- Pro = flows well for later upgrade
- Con = would be more difficult to pass visual emissions.

Correct me if I'm wrong with any of these, I havn't researched the LT1 options too much, that option only happened today. I assume I'd be using the rest of the TPI stuff along with it.

I'm still in the very early planning stages. Still need to install the T56, suspension and other goodies first. I just don't want to sell off parts, and later find out that would have been a better route to take.

I'm leaning towards #1 for the simplicity of it and having most if not all the part already. What are y'alls thoughts? I'd like to use what I have, but if there is a better option out there I'm all ears as long as I can pay for it by selling some of the other stuff. That means I don't think a FAST EFI is in the cards.

TIA

Sounds like it's time for a garage sale so you can pass all that .... stuff ... along to the next "greater fool", and start looking for whatever it is you REALLY want instead of ... a bunch .... of ..... ,,,, .... that.
