Kinda new to 3trd gens so please bear with me, I was doing front end work on my '90 iroc and noticed that above the oil filter was what looked like an aftermarket manual oil sending apparatus had been installed but the plastic tube had been cut and clamped off. Not sure why this was because no aftermarket gauges exist inside the car, there was a plug (electrical) hanging there by the oil filter so I assumed this is where the factory sender went, am I right? If not what sender belongs there and where would the oil sender be located? This is as far as I can tell a bone stock 350 tpi car, the factory oil gauge is the only one not working (besides the tach haha) and I'd just like to get it fixed.

 

Ok, got that fixed. Seems to be working alright. On to the next project.
