Where does this broken (vacuum?) hose go?
So I pulled my interior apart and found this broken hose which looks like it was running to my AC control switch, but I can't see where exactly. Nothing looks like it's obviously missing this hose.
I traced it to the firewall and I'm not sure where it goes after that.
Can someone help me identify this hose and figure out where it needs to go?
Thanks!

Looks like something that was added on. I think the only vacuum lines inside the cabin come off the HVAC control and a hose from the cruise control switch mounted on the steering column. Not sure what that one is. Sorry.

Re: Where does this broken (vacuum?) hose go?
Today I traced it into the engine compartment and discovered it T's into my vacuum lines.
I can't imagine why the hose is leading to where it does. What could it have possible hooked in to that would need vacuum just short of the console? 700R4?
My cruise control has never worked, I'm wondering if someone pulled it apart and routed that vacuum hose wrong and just left it disconnected? Where exactly does the vacuum hose connect for the cruise control in an 87 TPI? I tried looking earlier but my interior is a mess right now and I couldn't really get in there and see anything.
