Steering Pump Pulley Question
I'm going to be overhauling my power steering system once the weather warms up. The only thing I have left to get is a new pulley.
If I have researched things correctly, I will need a .750 shaft diameter pulley with a press fit. The only thing I am unsure of is the outer diameter size.
I have been looking at two pulleys one with a 5.750" outer diameter and one with a 6" outer diameter. If summit's catalog is correct the stock OD is 5.8" My engine has the BBK underdrive setup so which would work best? It should be noted that future plans for this car involve a new engine build that will be spun a little past 6k.
5.750" pulley

Stock (5.8") pulley

I would prefer the march performance since it's powdercoated plus I think the holes in the billet specialties one look fugly.
