Speedometer correction issue
Speedometer correction issue
Hi Guys! I was on the phone yesterday with a long time friend who owns a 1988 IrocZ 5.0 He decided to swap out the rear end a couple years ago. He had std rear end which I beleive would have been a mid 2's ratio (he has an automatic transmision)
He now installed a rear end out of a 5 speed car & I believe he said its a 3.42 ratio. Anybody know what speedo gear he needs in the transmision to correct the speedometer?
Or do we need to know whats in there now first?
Thanks for your thoughts!
