Help!!!
I hope this the right board to post my problem. My stock 89 l98 iroc tpi still has stalling issues. I have located and fixed vacuum leaks at the pvc valve grommet and the rubber boot that connects the maf sensor to the intake which helped a little. I hear another vacuum leak at the throttle body cover plate. I have used carb cleaner and start fluid, but the car doesn't rev up. I dont see any cracks, but I hear the hiss when when I use a rubber line to hear. The car starts up better with new maf sensor disconnected (2nd replacement). Could this vacuum leak be the cause of my problems? Would replacing the cover fix the problem or is there a problem with the throttle body?
Thanks,
Gerry
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
