motor bobs when in high rpms, help?

motor bobs when in high rpms, help?
I'm having a problem when I get on the gas on my Car when its in 3rd gear the motor "bobs" or fluctuates like its running out of fuel, if I start to ease out of the peddle the motor will start yo accelerate a little more than will start to Bob again.does this sound like a fuel issue? I was thinking it could be a clogged fuel filter or clapsing rubber fuel line going from my regulator to my carb. Help or suggestions? I'm still tunning the in tank pump going to a Mallory 3 port adjustable regulator then to my carter afb carb

Sounds like you don't have enough fuel pressure, you got a regulator?

Sounds like running out of fuel. Adjust your pressure while the car is running. What do you have the pressure set to?

I don't have a gauge installed yet, I'm running a Mallory 4309 return style regulator. I posted in can other forum about it trying to figure out which way I should adjust it to adjust the pressure
