Gonna get on you some John. Why do you bother reading this glorified bench racing meaningless articles??. Even if there was some value, those "stories"always leave key parts out.

With rock stock Vortec heads,no way mid 4's!!!!.

Dyno tests are only as good for that moment in the dyno rm which is a controlled environment having nothing to do with real life situations. The only tuning that matters is at the track where what you do makes a difference and the times don't lie.

Gezzz John you know this stuff.

I just googled his info and this came up.

Never built this combo myself so I could not say, for sure. I wasn't trying to say it was a 447 build, but just showing him what others are claiming.

Do you have a guesstimate for the OP?

Re: HP/TQ estimate
Using CamQuest it predicted 373HP @5000 rpm and 414 TQ at @4000 rpm but that seems like a stretch...

Re: HP/TQ estimate
I plugged the info into desktop dyno (probably useless though )

peak hp 374@5000 rpm
peak tq 451@3500 rpm

434ftlbs@2000rpm

Take it for what it's worth
