Smog Pump Removal
I was talking to my mechanic and he said something about removing the smog pump.
Figured it would bring in a lot of ease if I was wanting to do headers soon and just less clutter, better looking and maybe .5 hp gain.
I was just wondering how this all went.
I imagine there is some bolts, probably bought to take off that just connect it. Maybe a hose or something that connects to the exhaust somehow.
My mechanic said something about a plug in the head or something?
Was just asking generally how this goes, thanks,

Re: Smog Pump Removal
It's super easy. I did this recently. You just have to replace your old serp belt with the non CA emission one.
