That's the ad, he claims its a high nickle block (whats this mean performance wise?) And a 4 bolt main. From all the research I've seen they never made any of that, hell be sending me the heads and block # s soon but untill then if anyone has any ideas or input let me know, thanks. He claims its from a 73 c20 350 making 300+ hp stock, never dynoed. Is this guy just a scammer or am I missing something here?

"high nickle"means the cast iron the block was cast from has a higher nickle content-this will make the block more resistant to wear.Probably is a 4-bolt main if it is from a C20 truck-the 4-bolt main was used on heavier rated trucks to help keep the main bearings "round"under low rpm high torque conditions. The stock rated HP of a 1973 C20 350 was around 165 at ~4000 RPM running a compression ratio of about 8.2:1-pretty low.

Been a open question if the 010 blocks are a myth in terms of strength or not.OEM 300 hp rating doesn't require a 4 bolt main.

Really a two bolt main with splayed aftermarket mains is a stronger case.
