fuel cutoff

I recently posted about my 89 305 firebird not running well and I have some more details. The cars fuel cuts off and the engine dies once I hit 3500 rpms. Then I have to pop start it while its rolling anyone had a similar problem ?

How do you know it is actually the fuel cutting off?
Do you have a pressure gauge on it to observe the loss of fuel pressure?
Could be loosing the spark
