1992 camaro fog light strobe lights
I am looking to put some bright red and blue strobe lights where the fog lights are something for fun anybody tried this before let me know

This is the engine section.
Terrible idea if the car is registered for street use. Impersonating an officer being a criminal act with steep fines and potential jail time, of course that usually requires you turning them on and someone reasonably believing you were attempting to appear as a LEO. Most states however in their vehicular codes to stem such activity prohibit either forward facing red lights or blue lights at all, they need only be visible, not illuminated to give probable cause for a stop. Being stopped always has the potential to turn into so much more than that.
Point being pick different colors, save yourself potential hassles. As far as the doing, traditional strobes using a tube bulb are horribly outdated, prone to interference, not that bright and over priced. Pick up some LED strobes, mount, run wire to switch, from switch to fuse to battery/ign switched, no relay required. Ground the ground wire. Install second two pole momentary switch to ground, run program/pattern wires to that switch. Enjoy silly new gizmo and being a couple toggle switches closer to that aircraft cockpit dream.
