knocking at WOT
89 L98, 700R4 basically stock.
Running a Tech1 in Data List mode, I can watch the KnockTiming and KnockSense parms. BLM 127, Int 128, pretty darn good. ClosedLoop.
When accelerating smoothly without stomping on it onto the freeway, no knocking reported and the trans doesnt kickdown.
Stomping on it with the trans kicking down, knock retard of up to 12 with large vibration in the dash. It only does this while the trans is in kickdown mode. As soon as I let off the gas to let the trans "relax" back into normal mode, the knocking goes away?
