383 stroker suggestions

I have a 1984 z28 with a 383 stroker. Bought about 4 years ago. Just found out the guy used 77 350 heads i believe at least thats what came up when i loojed up the number on the head. I read some reciews that said these heads can be made to have decent flow but i dont kbow if the guy ported them or anything, plus they have the pressed in rocker studs which keep popping out so im currently tapping the holes and putting threaded rocker studs in. Should i waiste my time or buy some other heads. Im looking for this thing to have some ponies but nothing insane.

Re: 383 stroker suggestions

You can drill and pin the studs for around 10.00 bucks or you can get a set of DART Iron Eagle heads for around $800.00 deliverd with 165 intake runners and 2.02 intake valves. Depends on your budget mt friend. If your heads just need the studs pinned or converted to screw in studs your money ahead to finish what you have started. Just .02 worth.
