ANYONE know y my there is so much heat coming from the center console of my 88 iroc Z it has 25,000 miles n i think the 1st owner may have put a heater core in it. i know he f'd up the radio speakers

The air coming from under the dash is part of the normal air circulation of the vehicle. In the winter it'll be "cold" or "cool" air. It'll always blow unless you have the fan for your blower running as that is how the car gets fresh air into the cabin. Takes it from the engine compartment, not sure exactly where. Sadly, there is nothing to be done about it.
