Hi all,

I have a 1987 Pontiac Trans Am GTA 350. I have the hardest time locating a part number for the injection fuel pump relay. Would someone be so kind and let me know what the part number might be, and where on the firewall is this relay located? Maybe a diagram or picture? I do have a problem with hard engine start, even after new rotor, cap, wires, plugs, fuel filter, etc. Not sure that the PSI on the fuel rail is at the moment, as I've just ordered a gauge. But I cannot hear any clicking sound from the relay, nor can I hear the fuel pump priming. Eventually the car starts, but takes 3 times of cranking. I think this might be now the fuel pump relay, or fuel pump itself. I'd like to try the relay first but... What is the correct part number? And where in the world is it located? I've heard on firewall, next to master cylinder? A pic or diagram would be so helpful. My Haynes manual is pretty much useless on this question.. Autozone does not seem to have it, and Advance Auto Parts store gives me a generic rely that does not seem to fit anywhere.... Thanks in advance.
