92 Firebird 305 small miss and shallow jerking

One of my friends owns the car, but decided I would ask you all.

There has been a small miss here and there, even after his complete tune up, it still happens. New plugs, wires, cap, button, coilpack(I think thats what it is).

It at times feels just like a small miss, other times you can really feel it, and it only happens in either park, or in drive stopped at a stop light, does not do it while driving. No body can seem to figure it out..

Then there is the shallow jerking while at a steady speed and letting off the gas, and sometimes when coming to a stop, the car will miss and feel as if it is jumping forward a bit. Few people have said the torque converter is going out, and or could be causing the miss in the motor?!

I've tried to give you all the best possible desc I could, please help.

No, just purrs like a kitten and you can hear/feel the little misses here and there, and sometimes they get worse. Only does this when its in park and idling or in drive stopped at a light.

Doesn't do it while driving.

Well had someone plug in their reader to the car while my friend drove it, nothing is wrong with the torque converter. He seems to think the miss is electrical. Will be checking that out soon.

Re: 92 Firebird 305 small miss and shallow jerking

Well we saw sparks and the wires were lit up good at times, so my friend just replaced the wires again, and its still sparking, and we are unable to figure out what is causing this problem with the spark jumping...

Everything tune up wise is new
plugs
wires
cap
button
coil pack

what is going on to cause this spark jump??? please help us figure it out!! Thank you!
