Quick dumb question...curious lol

What causes that crackle kind of idle? Is it the actual cam itself plus the kind of exhaust? I'm guessing it has something to do with duration? Or overlap? Almost sounds like marbles coming out the exhaust lol..just think it's sounds bad ***

So what if a cam has negative overlap? Like -15?

Going to stick with the same mgs.Compression ratio dictates what cam should be chosen.
Any cam chosen for the "sound of it",is a poser cam used by a poser end user.Hate that!!.
