can I swap in a serpentine style air diverter valve?

I recently swapped in a serpentine belt system instead of the v-belts. The diverter will not fit anymore (broken anyways since i snapped off the 2 vac lines). Since I have to pass visual AIR inspection every year, can I swap in a 88-92 air diverter valve? It has 2 electrical connectors like my old one does, but no vac lines. Will it still work? Thanks
