OIL PRESSURE AENDING UNIT/ FUEL PUMP RELAY HELP

My 89 camaro was only starting because of the oil pressure sending unit. (The fuel pump relay is shot) now the oil pressure is no longer kicking up when I'm turning it over. Leading me to believe it is the sending unit. I got underneath it and remover the plug in to the unit but the unit is fairly new, replace less than a year ago. But I looked at the actual plug in that fits into the unit and one of the contacts looks to be burned up. How do you replace this/ how hard is it to replace/ is this even the correct solution to my problem

Buy a new plug w/ pigtail, cut the old plug off and splice new one on
Only once you have a good connection on the terminals can you test the sender unit

Re: OIL PRESSURE AENDING UNIT/ FUEL PUMP RELAY HELP

Ok now I have oil pressure and I've also replaced the fuel pump relay. Still no gas, fuel pump isn't kicking on.. I'm looking for the in-line fuse that everyone says should be next to my battery but it's no where to be found anywhere under my hood. The car had an engine swap at some point the electrical is kind if a mess. Is there any other location the fuse could be????

Look under the hood along the passenger side fender. There is a heavy wire, usually black in color, that runs from the radiator support area and into the car someplace near the firewall.

The fuse (20 A most likely) is inline with that wire. It is in a small plastic holder, usually closer to the front of the car.
