Where does this line go near the distributer ?

Engine: L92/LQ4 (both w/4" stroke)
Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
It goes to one side of a thermo vacuum valve mounted to the bottom of the air cleaner.

The other side of the valve should have another hose that goes to a vacuum fitting on the front of the carb.

Found it! I couldn't see it the first time I looked
Would this not being connected lett eh motor run sluggish or is it just a accessory

If the vacuum port is open on the carb, it can lean it out on idle.

Its purpose is to provide heated air to the carb when it's cold and the choke is coming off. It helps eliminate an off-idle bog/dead spot, typically.
