Need advice on selling thirdgen

This isn't a hate speech against thirdgens,

It's just that I am downright bored of them, The looks, everything about them. Probably easier to say my tastes have changed and I prefer newer cars. Its an 85 camaro that was an impulse buy right after highschool, because I thought it would be a cool muscle car.

And it was, I daily drove it for 4 years, through college, through the rainy days, and the hellish 3 and half hours on bumpy roads traveling back home during holidays. I had dreams and ideas and what I would do to fix it, and make it look downright awesome, and perform like a street car.

But now I don't feel any of that anymore, i'm sick of the car. It needs carpet put in, but before doing that, It needs to have a passenger floorpan in "I think" because it has minor swiss cheese spots where rust ate though it.

Headlights don't work, switch went out. The reverse lights don't work. The interior looks like total crap, none of the gauges work and are gone. The dash is cracked up, exhaust isn't even connected to the muffler. So much stuff to do, and I do hate to see it sit like that.

I've invested thousands for stupid **** just to keep it running. And now that I want to sell it, I Know I will never see that money that was put into it. Obviously.

The body is actually in really good shape with a few insignificant paint chips missing.

My question is,

If I shot a video of the car detailing what I'm talking about, could you guys help help me figure out a fair price so I can list it up on craigslist or something and let somebody who cares about it do to it what needs to be done.

Pictures would help, but what about the frame/ underneath the car? From reading your description it looks like you won't get much from selling it. Sounds like everything crapped lol, there's other options such as parting it out but it'll be a longer process of getting rid of it likely.

I don't really know if it should be parted out considering the body is in great shape, and these are the only pictures I have of it right now.

Don't part it out, it looks like 1000-1500 dollars to me in the condition you describe right now. I don't see an 85 bringing in that much in parts sales...
