I have a 1982 Camaro with 350 chevy engine. I have the Sanderson QP1200 headers. I am looking for a nice wire loom set for my centerbolt valve covers to be able to route the wires away from heat. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pics would help as well.
I have the Russell # 611147 shown blow.
I got the best clearance on the headers as shown but they come with a single and a 3 wire holder as well
Currently shown as unavailable most places but SDPC have them listed ?

Only other CB ones appear to be the holders that mount to the valve cover bolts

I made up my own by modding four two-wire generic looms (I think they were Accel brand) and some 90-degree angles from the cabinet hardware aisle at the hardware store.
I separated the plastic wire holders from the looms and pop-riveted them to the 90-degree angles.
On stock Chevy heads and some aftermarket heads, there are two small threaded holes (IIRC they're No. 10 machine screws??) located in between the exhaust ports.
I screwed my modded wire looms to these holes.
No's 5-7:

No's 2-4:

The other two looms are identical to these.
My SLP headers have individual flanges for each port. I don't know if these as-modded looms will work with the more common single plate header flange. You can probably fab up some longer or different shaped angles in order to use the same threaded holes.
They're not pretty but they work. Most people don't even notice them. I've been running these since 1989 without issues.

Attached is a pic of the headers & centerbolt valve covers that I have. Of all the centerbolt wire looms that I have come across none seem to work. Anyone have these valve covers with a wire loom set.
