Transmission: M 20 4 speed
Axle/Gears: stock open 3.43
Alt question
I am switching over from a v belt to a serpentine set up On my 82 z. When I went to put the alt on the single post on the back of it hits the valve cover. The serpentine system im using is off an 89 fire bird 5.7. I guess my question is, is there an alt used on a different car/truck that has that post clocked in a different position?

Yes, and you also have to get a "reverse" rotation water pump, pullies may swap, but pump will spin the wrong way.

I will also need a reverse rotation fan correct?
