Windshield washer pump

On my 86 t/a wipers work great but won't spurt fluid. Limes are all clean and the pump is only 20 bucks. Any tips on remove/Install? I'd rather not take that black cover off and risk breaking something

Re: Windshield washer pump

Remove the clip and pull the pump out of the wiper motor. You don't have to take the motor cover off. Installation is done in reverse.

I can't recall how to get the clip off but I think you catch the top edge with a bladed screwdriver and rotate downward. The clip should pop off.
