Alright, guys, I've tried everything.. I've replaced the rubber ring, poured liquid gasket seal all over the place around of it and let it dry at least overnight and during the morning, screwed the hold down bolt in as much and as tight as possible (although it is hard to reach) bit by bit from the driver's side with a hinged ratchet slightly hinged for a small amount of ratching clearance needed to do so one click at a time.. but it was all to no avail, although it leaks a lot less now and less dramatically the fact remains that it leaks drip by drip which leaves these drips and when parked even small pools everywhere which is obviously unacceptable.
What's up and what can I possibly still do to end this once and for all?
Thanks in advance!

Are you sure it coming from the distributor and not the oil pressure sending unit?
What engine? 2.8L? You can use a small block chevy distributor base gasket on a 2.8L distributor to help seal it up.
But it sound like you might have another leak.

I am not, I am only sure that I am going to be in trouble eventually with whatever SOB it is leaking all over the place everytime I park my car somewhere. I do know that it got severely less when I tried to seal the distributor up with liquid gasket seal though, and oil was all over the place there, so it'd be kinda hard to believe it's something else. I replaced the supposedly broken 2.8L engine that was in my car when I bought it with a rather weathered 2.8L I bought through a Craigslist-like website here in the Netherlands (had high compression rates though, I tested it before buying it by putting a startmotor on it and connecting it to a battery with jump cables). It was my bad at the time for not cleaning the engine and at least replacing all gaskets and plugs and etc., it had already brought me the joy of having to replace the freeze plugs when the engine was already in the car despite the fact that they were rusted was clearly visible. I had no idea at the time, being completely new to all of it.

I had an oil leak to the similar degree as yours on my 350 TPI. Never figured it out. I just assumed the block was cracked by the sending unit plug.
Now the head gasket blew lol so I won't worry about this engine anymore.

check the rear of the lower intake gasket, popular leaking point for chevy engines.
Thanks for the replies, guys! After a few days it stopped leaking by itself, strange as it did leak quite a bit still before that, but it's been several days without leaking now fortunately. Hopelfully it'll stop leaking forever, or at least until I get my modern V8 to put in there.

You do still have oil in the engine, right?
Yeah, fortunately! While it doesn't leak noticeably anymore now, the level does keep getting lower slowly, and in the rain I did see some drips as they become big and rainbow-like.
