need help with v-belt routing please
hey , Hello , how you all doing i got a 1984 trans-am with the 5.0 liter chevy h.o. could any one please dig me up a v-belt routing diagram for the power steering please and thank you my model did have a/c but when i bought my t/a the ac was removed and the power steering was working fine now recent i had a bet of a cooling issue which i believe may have contribute to the belt slipping off when i went to go put it back on it keep slipping off and on top of that want to flip over

Here's the routing for my V-belt, I wouldn't imagine that your's would be too different.
Starts on the Fan Pulley, down to the harmonic balancer, and then to the power steering pump. All while being on the closest groove to the engine.
Does yours look similar? If it keeps coming off you may have a belt that is slightly too big or not tightened properly.

Thank you redleader for the welcome and the pic i have the same set up as you do in your camero but my belt would not fit around all three pully's but this does help cause now i know the belt i,m running is not the right belt i,ll post pic soon of my t/a it a work in progress but a awesome car if you don,t mind me asking what you got done to your power planet thank you again very helpful

My engine started out as a "385 fastburn crate engine" from GM performance. It's a 350 4-bolt main with fastburn aluminum heads. My Father and I installed 1.5 RR's, aluminum water pump, a GMPP Vortec Eliminator single-plane high rise intake, flex fan, and a Holley 750 double pumper carburetor. It's being fed by a Holley Blue fuel pump. By all estimates it should be pushing out right at 400 hp. I have it hooked to a built TH350 trans w/2200 stall converter. Needless to say, it's a blast to drive
