Fuel pump replacement

Hi guys, I have a 1988 Trans am gta. Its been sitting awhile and the fuel pump went bad. Can anyone direct me to a good mechanic in sacramento, ca who won't rip me off or ruin my car? She is my baby.

I would highly recommend contacting 3rdBird here on TGO. He owns/operates the Goodyear shop up in Rocklin.

Oh, and if you need a fuel pump I have a used one for sale if you want it. It works fine. I'm only asking $50 + shipping.

Thanks for the info and offer. Ive purchased one from autozone already, not sure how good it is seeing as I'm a beginner. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about working on cars

take it back!! you got a "airtex"!!! in no way, will anything auto zone sells, give you good service. go to NAPA and get their best fuel pump. at the very least.
