89' 5.7 IROC idles rough, dies when put in gear
Hey guys,
I have an 89' IROC 5.7.
I had a leaking front pump seal on my transmission and for other reasons, I decided to replace my torque converter while the tranny was out. I also pulled the distributor for other reasons.
Now I have the car all put back together but it is idling a little rough. The big problem is that when I shift from park or neutral to drive or reverse, the car immediately dies.
Is my timing just off or is there something tranny related going on here?

89 5.7 swap with a tbi. stalls at a stop light unless you put in neutral then has bad idle. has codes 32, 33, and 53. tried adjusting idle but thinkin of plugging the iac off. and how long should the map sensor hose be?
