Fuel Injection to Carb Swap

So after many years of struggles of getting the car to run right and having be told I have a wiring nightmare under my hood I have decided to swap my TPI build to carb. I have a eagle 383 stroker kit. What kind of setup should I be putting on top and do I need a new hood as well. Thank you

Re: Fuel Injection to Carb Swap

You can fit a low rise (performer) dual plane, carb, and drop base air cleaner under a stock. Get up into the performer RPM intake and you may need some type of small scoop or cowl hood.

What you need depends on your budget, use and goals. Along with what you have now.
Is your 383 dish pistons or flat tops?

You said "on top" are you meaning whole top end like heads up, or just intake up?

If you already have good heads, I would go with a performer RPM or RPM air gap intake.
650-670 cfm vac sec. if it's daily driven, more street than anything else.

But if you want more out of it, maybe a 750 vac sec.

If more toy than drive, 750-850 cfm double pumper mech. sec.
