Power steering belt removal.

So I have an 82 camaro and I'm replacing all the belts. I just can't seem to figure out the one on the power steering pump. I've loosened the bolt the connects to the water pump and the the one on the right side under the ac pump but it won't budge. Can anybody tell me what I'm missing???

If I remember right there is a bolt behind the pump pulley you have to loosen with a wrench.

Re: Power steering belt removal.

There is one on the top by the ps fill which is the pivit point, one on the left side half way down that bolts into the water pump and one on the right about halfway down that is just attatched to a braket. Am I missing one?

Re: Power steering belt removal.

I figured it out. I had to take the nut and washer that was on the water pump off ask it would slide. The washer was blocking the way. Guess thats what happens when the last person that owned the car puts the wrong washer in its place.
