Looking to Remove my Air Pump
Would anybody know what I need to remove my Air Pump, like pulleys or belts or what have you.
I already have my headers installed, and they don't have the ports for my air pump, nor do I want to keep the pump, and my where I live we don't need smog testing

If u have a serpentine belt hawks 3rd gen sells a smog pump delete pulley that u can out in place of the air pump or u could change the water pump the a same rotation as the crank and get a belt from 1993+ k series pick up truck and just route ur belt the opposite way so it makes the pump spin the same way as crank

If you choose to do so, I also recommend getting the delete pulley. This keeps your belt size the same and you don't need to change anything else. Make sure the ports on the Cat are crimped very well and remove all that tubing coming up. Or, get cats without the AIR tubes. Disconnect and plug the vacuum port on the EGR, but keep the electric switch (mine is on the passenger side by the distributor). The ECM isn't smart enough to know you've removed anything, unless you disconnect the switch, then it will throw a code.

Re: Looking to Remove my Air Pump
So my AIR pump went bad and I removed it. Do I have to remove anything or block off anything like the pipe attached to the pump? I just want to get it running for the time being. I will strip everything off later.
TIA

plug the piping coming off of the manifolds with a plug. I bought a brass end plug from the plumbing section in home depot for like 30 cents.

Re: Looking to Remove my Air Pump
Well I pulled the pump, got the longer belt and rerouted it. I fired it up and there are no exhaust leaks. I did not block anything off and it seems to run fine. I am hoping a buddy of mine will bring his coder over this morning so we can deal with the 100mv issue and maybe dial in some tune as well.
