Hood Clearance

Hi, would my stock 1986 Camaro Sport Coupe hood clear a HSR with the Billet accel Throttle body? it seems a lot bigger that the stock throttle body.

Thanks

From everything I've read about it, the HSR will not fit without cutting the braces from the underside of the hood and even then it will still rub. You would have found this with the it's a fairly common question.

Re: Hood Clearance

I did research this quite a bit before i asked the question both on here and on google to search within this site. All i found was on firebird hoods and stock throttle bodies. I know how close a stock throttle body on a hsr fits on a gta because my good buddy had one and he had to cut the underhood braces. I believe the camaro has more clearance for the hsr but the accel/lingenfelter billet throttle body sticks out a considerable amount more than a stock throttle body. So i didnt find any useful info by searching and didnt want to spend hours looking and maybe find something useful.

Thanks

Can someone confirm that the HSR may still rub even after removing the hood bracing? Will it still rub a Camaro and a Firebird or just a Firebird?
