Hey guys sorry to start a new thread... im sure the answer is buried somewhere in old threads but im just not finding it.
Going to be correcting a valve tap and doing a tune up on my 84 Z28 5-speed L69 and I just want to make sure my timing is correct after its all complete. Does anyone know where i can find a reference to what the correct factory timing is? Also is this timing at a specific RPM?
I was reading in old threads that the 4-wire connector should be disconnected from the distributer before setting timing to prevent the computer from adjusting timing... any other pointers?
Thanks everyone.
