I currently have a 406, dart block. Quick Fuel 850 to a Vic Jr. Intake and AFR 1054 cylinder heads.
I did an intake gasket job on it today only to realize my intake ports size on my AFR 1054's require a 1206 gasket where the Vic Jr. ports are much smaller, more like a 1204 or 1205 gasket.
I wonder if I'm cutting myself short on power with this intake? What other intakes are out there that has a larger port size, to match the 1206 (gasket) port size that the AFR's have? Thanks!

First off, there is NO gasket that will exactly match the intake port opening of your AFR heads.
Second, the Vic Jr. is a very under-rated intake and will make power like crazy in the upper RPMs despite being smaller than the ports it's feeding.
Third, you will ignore my second point, I guarantee it. AFR 210s are some pretty damned serious cylinder heads. If you want a righteous single plane intake that will feed that beast everything it wants (and you have the hood clearance to fit it), look at the Holley Strip Dominator. It kicks some serious *** on heavy-breathing small blocks without costing a ton of money.

Thanks for your response, that's the type of info I'm seeking in this post. I've never heard of the HSD.
