What do these sensors go to?

What do these sensors go to?

Hey I think the top one is coolant the lower one is oil pressure?

looks to me like they are both coolant temp senders- the one in the intake by the water neck is what the ecm uses to trim the fuel and spark curves, and the other one is where the green wire for the gauge plugs in.

So if the lower one isn't plugged in it might cause the car to run like crap?

the sender for the gauge has nothing to do with how the car runs- it just tells that little needle in the gauge where to point.
